“PROBERT MAKES IT TO FIFA LIST !”

Lee Probert, (along with Steve Child and Jake Collin as assistants) has been added to the FIFA list of Match Officials for 2010. Lee was originally appointed to the Select Group Referees list in 2007 and was the fourth official for the Carling Cup Final that same season. Steve Child and Jake Collin are both Select Group Assistants, with vast Premier League game experience. They have officiated at several european matches this season. The trio have yet to be told when their international appointments will commence.
The 2010 FIFA list now contains 7 PGMO Referees; Martin Atkinson, Stuart Attwell, Mark Clattenburg, Mike Dean, Andre Marriner, Lee Probert, and Howard Webb. Interestingly, out of the 20 premiership PGMO Referees currently rated by RTR members, these 7 hold the, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th spots.
The full picture being: Andre Marriner, currently 5th from 20, with 3.17; Howard Webb, 8th with 2.98; Lee Probert, 12th with 2.87; Mike Dean, 15th with 2.8; Martin Atkinson, 16th with 2.79; Mark Clattenburg, 17th with 2.75;and finally Stuart Attwell in 19th with 2.74.
RTR members currently rate Keith Stroud in 1st position with a score of 3.82 and Rob Styles in 20th last spot with 2.53.
