Unbelievable! In the first half, Plautz and his apparently biased team reversed the Portugal goal which was clearly onside, then didn't make a call when a blatant Swiss penalty occurred in the Swiss goal box which would have resulted in a PK. Then to call a PK against Portugal in the second half for a lesser foul than the non-call in the first half made clear that Plautz's loyalty is not to the sport. A blatantly biased official of a host nation. It is for this reason that host nations should never officiate in games in which host nations play. In this game, the sport itself was the loser. There are fewer greater injustices in sport than when a lack of impartiality of referees reverses the outcome of a game.

This ref is a disgrace to the world of soccer. Very precise giving Portugal penalties, using the whistle every 2 minutes, but clearly blind to Swiss penalties. What honor is there in winning when the other team was prevented from achieving its full potential? In normal conditions this game would have at least ended up in a 2-2 tie. All I know is that being that the Swiss Coach was having a farewell party afterwards, this game had to end in a win for the host team, no matter how the wheels turned... Pathetic!!!!
